Life After College

Life after College is a leadership program which offers professional vision and personal development to college women in the DC area.


The program offers:

  • seminars on developing better work habits

  • networking opportunities

  • mentoring

  • work-site shadowing

  • a mini-retreat on the meaning of work

  • exposure to professional women working in Washington, D.C.

The Life After College program is generously underwritten by the Mitchell family.

The inspiring leaders conference

2019 marks the launch of the inaugural Inspiring Leaders Conference, a collaboration between the Yuma Center and its partner non-profit Girl Talk.

Service Opportunities

Yuma has partnered with PALS to offer service opportunities to women interested in tutoring and mentoring inner-city middle and high school girls on Saturdays from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Contact Amanda Tindall at PALS for more information.
